I awoke at dawn to continue down the road. My GPS unit is programmed to avoid toll roads which was a good thing because as soon as I left the Interstate I started seeing lots of wildlife including my first and only Scissor-tailed Flycatcher of the trip.

Stayed over for a night to enjoy time with Brandon and Desiree. Brandon was up at dawn to show me the Rocky Mountain Elk which fade back into the forest shortly after the sun rises.
